Baby Girl’s Shower

Baby girl’s shower was going to be pretty and girly for sure. I love all hearts and pink a lot and I knew that was going to be part of the theme in some way. Therefore, shopping was my favorite thing to do for the shower.

I probably bought more than needed for the shower but it’s better to have more than not enough. On the other hand, I can always use the leftover things for another occasion like her 1st birthday!

For example, I bought party supplies that were color coordinated and not any particular character so I can use it later as well.

I used Target brand diapers to make my daughter’s diaper cake. The decorations were all found at the Dollar Tree and the 99 Cents Store.

Beautiful cake made by my close guy friend! It looked gorgeous and taste just as delicious.

The flower arrangements are from my close friend/ party host.  She loves hosting parties and she out did herself with this one as well!

The Planning…

It’s a Girl! I’ve always wanted a mini me haha. I started thinking about the theme I wanted for my baby girl’s baby shower early on. The colors I decided for the theme were pink, gold, and rose gold. The baby shower was going to be in late March.

I would buy cute heart things and pink candies any chance I got. I went on Pinterest a lot to get some ideas for my baby shower. Months prior, I made my sister in law a diaper cake for her son’s baby shower. Putting together my own diaper cake for my daughter’s baby shower was more fun. I enjoyed all of the planning process for my daughter’s baby shower.

The Party Supplies/Decorations

The party supplies came from a combination of online retail and others in town. I did ask my family and friends to help with putting up some of the party decorations ahead of time. Having the baby shower at the park was my original idea. Rain was in the forecast. Luckily for us, the sun was out that day and we got to enjoy our time in the backyard as well.
